It was a really nice hotel and room for the price I payed.

The room was clean and very spacious, the bathroom very nice. The staff upon arrival was very friendly.

The checkout process was not entirely clear and dealing with the checkout staff was a little bit confusing. The room was a little too warm.

Met expectations for price. Would stay again and would recommend for a cheap place to stay.

I liked that there was no carpet. The bathroom was nice and had a full supply of toiletries including shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The location was super convenient for the airport, restaurants, and bus stops. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, the hotel is old and it shows. Some of the towels had holes in them and some of the sheets had aging stains. But it was nothing that negatively impacted our experience. The room was warm, the floor under the beds wasn't swept, and you can't see out the windows. The bathroom also doesn't have a shower curtain.

Great value for money, i guess.

The location was great. Close to everything!

For some reason the aircon in the rooms were not working. Though they provided electric fans (when requested).

Close to the airport and had multiple buses that stopped within walking distance to hotel. Multiple convenience stores nearby.

Couldn’t figure out the “AC” and was a little hot in the room but the windows open to let in fresh air which made it better.

Good value. Central location. Less than 10 mins to airport.

Great island to visit. This location is very central for transportation and picking up tours. Very good staff and environment. Would recommend for your stay. I did 2 nites and 2 tours. East and South. The hotel works well for joining both these tours and pick up spots.

Breakfast was basic, with only eggs as western choices. But that is typical for Korea. Otherwise, nothing to mention.

the staff are great and close proximity to the airport - I paid something like 5000won for the car ride to the airport.

many hotels in Korea are central heating & cooling which means that in late Oct when it was a bit stuffy indoors, I slept in a bit of heat since most properties turn off the AC by that time. I should’ve opened the window to let some cool air in. however, I must say that by far this property has the most proactive and service-oriented front desk team. they spoke the best English out of the 3 properties I stayed at and treated this foreigner as an equal and important guest. a lot of others don’t feel comfortable or confident communicating with foreigners so I felt like I was low-key being avoided by the staff. as a solo traveller, I really appreciated their willingness to always help and answer questions esp when I was in an urgent state like needing to get help finding the parking space or needing a taxi urgently to the airport cuz no taxi was coming by on a Saturday early morning. truly I felt so grateful for the staff - they are the biggest asset this property has!

Parking is not connected to the hotel property so it was hard to find. hotel entrance is also on a narrow/ crowded inner street so I missed it the first time. driving by car, this property is not the easiest to enter but just circle a few times until you spot the sign. look up when you’re driving. also it’s right by some noisy busy streets of Jeju so may be a little bit noisy if you open the windows. it’s close proximity to the airport but the traffic here can be bad during peak period so allocate 15-20 mins to get to/ from the airport during peak period. however, during off peak, it only takes like 8 mins.

Value for money, good location

1) Good location - less than 3 minutes walk from bus stop, 5 bus stop from airport and Jeju inter-city bus terminal that have many buses going different parts of the island. Taxi from airport to hotel only cost 4500 - 5500 won. 2) Clean room - blanket, bedsheets, floor , wardrobe, toilet and bathtub are very clean. Change of towels everyday. Mini fridge, kettle, glass drinking cups and saucers, hair dryer and toiletries provided in room. 3) air conditioning - AC on the ceiling. 4) check in - 24 hour front desk service, they speak English doable to get help with directions etc. No worry even late check in at midnight. 5) value for money - room and toilet are good size, with a proper dressing table (can use as working desk for laptop) and big mirror, TV, TV console, a stand to put luggage on so no need to place luggage on the floor. 6) accommodative front desk - allowed late check out free of charge as need to answer an important call in the room at 11am. Helped to call a taxi to airport. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Room light not bright enough. No shower screen so floor is wet after shower.

Quel a été le point d'orgue de Samhaein Tourist Hotel

It was a good stay and we returned to the hotel for our final night on Jeju-do.

We had a very large corner room with two beds - one was firmer than the other giving us a bit of choice. The view was great and we could see Hallasan from one window and a glimpse of the ocean between buildings through another window. It was lovely to have plenty of space to move around in and it had a table with two chairs where we could sit and snack or plan the next day. We stayed here for 3 nights.

The only drawback to the room is that the lighting is dim which makes it hard to read unless I was directly under the spot light or in the bathroom. The bathroom had excellent lighting and a bathtub. As we were on the 10th floor with extra large double windows we were unable to open the window to get fresh air (which we like to do). When we had a smaller room on our second stay the window did open.

The staff was really nice. My bf was injured during the stay. The male staff tried to help us as much as he could. And also i made a mistake that i booked a two single beds room. The female staff at the front gave us an upgraded room for free.

The toilet wasn’t really good.
